The 602 Stage (https://www.the602stage.org/)began as a long-time dream which was a vision to create the kind of theatre company I grew up in: one rooted in community, support, and joy. I’d always talked about starting my own company, but the idea truly began to take shape when I realized how many talented, passionate people in the Valley were craving the same sense of belonging that I was.)

As an actor myself, I know what it feels like to be overlooked or undervalued. I’ve always been the type to lift others up, and after reflecting on some shared experiences with friends, I knew it was time to shake things up. There wasn’t one defining moment — just a series of signs pointing toward a new beginning.

And so, The 602 Stage was born. The name itself carries a personal story. As a California transplant, I used to feel a wave of nostalgia every time I’d hear my old hometown area code. Now, “602” represents my new home — a community I love and want to help flourish through theatre that connects, uplifts, and inspires.

Artistically, The 602 Stage will focus on bringing back the classics to start with the kind of musical comedies and golden-age gems that first made me fall in love with theatre. While modern stories have their place (and we'll be exploring those too, eventually!), there’s something magical about the timeless melodies and joy of those earlier eras.

At its core, our top value is community. My approach to leadership and collaboration is shaped by my faith: a belief that love, kindness, and welcome should be the foundation of everything we do. Jesus welcomed his neighbor, and so will I.

That same spirit inspired The 602 Revue, our very first event. A revue felt like the perfect way to launch this journey, it gives every performer their moment in the spotlight while uniting us all under one curtain call. The songs themselves are a surprise (you’ll have to join us to find out!), but the energy is pure joy: a celebration of creativity, connection, and the bright new chapter ahead for theatre in the 602.
