Sometimes, life throws a detour when you least expect it.

The Barksdale Family...a devoted mom and dad with 2 bright, beautiful children...left Houston filled with hope. They were heading toward Georgetown, ready to begin a new chapter. A new job, a new home, a fresh start in a community where they could thrive.

They packed everything they owned into a U-Haul, said goodbye to the familiar, and made the drive with hearts full of belief. But when they arrived, everything changed.

The home they were promised and the one they’d planned for, saved for, and prayed over was suddenly no longer an option. Through no fault of their own, the place they were meant to settle into vanished. No keys. No contract. No place to lay their heads.

Just like that, the Barksdales found themselves in a town they didn’t know, with children to care for, bags still packed, and nowhere to turn. But that’s not where their story ends.

That’s where Airyn & The Airbo Foundation stepped in...because no family should face a crisis alone, and especially not while they’re chasing a better life.

Now, we’re rallying to raise funds to give the Barksdale Family a soft place to land for the next 7–10 days. A safe, stable place to rest while they find a new home, steady their feet, and continue walking forward.

The Barksdales didn’t ask for this storm...but they’ve shown incredible strength and grace in the middle of it. And with your help, we can make sure they don’t walk this part of the road alone.
