Share comfort and joy with foster youth in Eastern Iowa by supporting JLCR’s Apartment in a Suitcase Program! This program provides individuals aging out of foster care with a suitcase (and accompanying items) to supply their first home. Apartments in a Suitcase have a life-changing impact on youth in our community, providing them with a physical and emotional boost while they navigate the difficulties of establishing their independence without traditional support and often after adverse life experiences.
