Citrus County's creative community is rising, and we’re ready to grow alongside it. With your help, we’ll make targeted, lasting improvements that elevate the work we do onstage, backstage, and throughout our community. Here’s what your generosity will make possible:

INITIATIVE #1: UPGRADES TO OUR BLACKBOX THEATER

Upgrade our existing black box theatre into a more intimate, flexible performance space—enhancing its functionality for new works, small-scale productions, workshops, student showcases, and community events. These improvements will expand our artistic capacity, improve audience experience, and create sustainable new revenue opportunities.

INITIATIVE #2: EXPAND OUR LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

Launch Twistid Arts Prep: a year-round performing arts education program designed by industry professionals to nurture artistic talent while building essential life skills. Expanding upon the foundation of the Summer Intensive Theatre Program, this program will provide structured training in acting, voice, dance, and technical theatre—filling a critical gap in local arts education while creating sustainable, mission-aligned revenue. Through a robust lineup of fully staged youth productions, students gain hands-on experience in every aspect of theatre-making, from performance and collaboration to professional lighting, scenic design, and costumes. Twistid Arts Prep equips young performers with the confidence, discipline, and practical experience needed to thrive both on stage and beyond.

INITIATIVE #3: COSTUME/PROP STORAGE UPGRADES

Overhaul our prop, costume, and set storage—streamlining systems to prevent duplicate purchases, reduce long‑term production costs, preserve materials, and create a rental‑based revenue stream that supports every show we produce.

These initiatives aren’t just exciting—they’re foundational. They enable increased programming, stronger education offerings, reduced expenses, and responsible staff growth so we can continue our mission with excellence for years to come.
