The Stylist Startup Fund Inc was created from a place of deep understanding and lived experience. As a licensed master cosmetologist and salon owner, I remember what it felt like to chase my dream with passion but limited resources. Struggling to pay booth rent with no clientele, I faced moments of doubt and considered giving up. The only thing I needed was a little help to get started.

That is why this fund exists.

The Stylist Startup Fund is here to stand in that gap for others who are ready to begin their journey in the beauty industry but do not have the means to take the first step. We offer scholarships to high school students who want to attend cosmetology school, and we provide grants to new graduates who are transitioning into professional salon life. Beyond funding, we offer mentorship and business education to help them build real, lasting careers.

Beauty school teaches technique, but it does not always teach how to run a business, attract clients, or manage finances. That is where we come in. We guide emerging stylists through those early stages so they can build a career they are proud of.
