🚨Rescue Story: The Three Little Pigs of Signal Mountain🐷🐷🐷
For over a month, three determined little pigs had been on the run, surviving wild and loose at the base of Signal Mountain. With coyotes, roads, and summer heat working against them, it was nothing short of a miracle they were still alive.
But these pigs weren’t alone. A kindhearted Good Samaritan spotted them and began working tirelessly to earn their trust. She reached out to Flying Pigs Sanctuary, and together, we launched a rescue mission that tested our patience, our budget, and our pig-wrangling creativity.
Day after day, we returned—hauling panels, adjusting fencing, watching, waiting, hoping. It took over $1,000 in fencing and fuel and countless hours of sweat and strategy, but finally, we got them. Safe. Secure. Loved.
Now, the real work begins.
These boys are now officially under Flying Pigs Sanctuary’s care and in a loving foster home where they are decompressing and finally learning what safety feels like. They’re receiving full vet care—vaccines, neuters, hoof trims, and health checks—an investment of another $1,000, and worth every penny.
Soon, they’ll be ready for adoption.
