TIERRA CITRUS

¡Hola a todos! Somos el equipo detrás de "Tierra Citrus", un proyecto cinematográfico independiente que se llevó a cabo en el norte Argentino. . Esta película, es una oda a los saberes ancestral , la naturaleza y las historias de vida que surgen en las tierras cítricas de nuestro país.

"Tierra Citrus" sigue la historia de una familia en la región montañosa de las Yungas en Tucumán, Argentina. A través de generaciones, la familia enfrenta la aparición de un virus que supuestamente nace en las cosechas de limones. La película nos muestra la idiosincracia de un pueblo llamado Alpachiri, donde se ubica el Parque Nacional Los Alisos. Por ese lugar corria parte del Camino del Inca existiendo ruinas de un fuerte erigido a fines del siglo xv donde en la película se trata de mencionar a través de la aparición de un mortero y una Piedra Grande que emite poderes.

Ya hemos terminado la filmación y el proyecto está ahora en la etapa de postproducción. Sin embargo, para poder llevar esta historia al mundo, necesitamos tu apoyo para cubrir los últimos $10,000 necesarios para pagar las salas de mezcla, corrección de color, diseño sonoro y gráfico. ¡Cada aporte, grande o pequeño, nos acerca un paso más a compartir esta increíble historia con ustedes y el mundo!

Sobre la Directora:

Ayelén Agüero es una artista visual y realizadora que estudió Dirección de cine en CIEVYC y enseñanzas en Artes audiovisuales en la ENERC/ Unsam (Arg). Fue becaria del Programa de cine en la Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (Arg). En su obra, investiga los estudios culturales como construcción de sociedades en torno al cuerpo físico/material y la relación cuerpo-trabajo . Trabaja con fotografía, video, instalación, performance y escritura creativa. Su obra ha sido expuesta en Argentina, Perú, España, Mexico, Chile y USA. Ha recibido becas de creación del Fondo Nacional de las Artes (2020, 2021) y el Premio en estímulo joven Kenneth Kemble en Artes visuales (2022). En el ámbito audiovisual, trabajó en Ecuador, México y EE.UU. Actualmente ha creado la productora Achalay cine.

Sobre el los productores:

Francisco D’ Eufemia, egresado en Montaje de la ENERC en 2006, ha trabajado en la edición de una docena de largometrajes de diversos estilos. Fundador de las productoras Poncho Cine y Ramón Irreal, ha dirigido, producido y editado el documental "Canción perdida en la nieve" (2015), y co-dirigió el largometraje de ficción "Fuga de la Patagonia" (2016). Su última realización, "Al Acecho" (2020), se estrenó en el Festival Internacional de Pingyao, China, y está disponible en Netflix en toda Latinoamérica, siendo una de las 10 películas argentinas más vistas en la historia de la plataforma. Francisco también ha sido tutor y jurado en diversos festivales de cine.

Hello everyone! We are the team behind "Tierra Citrus," an independent film project set in the vibrant and colorful rural landscape of Argentina. This movie, directed by talented local filmmakers, is a tribute to the culture, nature, and life stories that emerge from the citrus lands of our country.

"Tierra Citrus" follows the story of a Spanish immigrant family who finds their home in the mountainous Yungas region of Tucumán, Argentina. Through generations, the family faces challenges and changes, from the rise of the sugar and citrus industries to the adversities that threaten their legacy. The film shows how the climate, trends, and personal decisions can transform not only a family’s life but also the identity of an entire region.

We’ve already completed the filming, and the project is now in the crucial post-production stage. However, to bring this story to the world, we need your support to cover the remaining $7,500 needed to pay our technical team, rent mixing studios, and cover color correction, sound design, and graphic design costs. Every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to sharing this incredible story with you and the world!

$1000 - $7500: Become an Executive Producer! Your name will appear in the credits as such, and you will receive all the rewards from the early access level, along with a special invitation to attend the premiere (in-person or virtual).

Note: The order of appearance in the credits will be determined by the amount donated, with those who contribute more being listed first, followed by those with smaller donations.

About the Director:

Ayelén Agüero is a visual artist and filmmaker who studied Film Direction at CIEVYC and studies in Audiovisual Arts at ENERC/ Unsam (Arg). She was a scholarship recipient of the Film Program Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (Arg). She investigates cultural studies as the construction of societies around the physical/material body and the body-work relationship. She works with photography, video, installation, performance and creative writing. Her work has been exhibited in Argentina, Peru, Spain, Mexico, Chile and the USA. She has received creation grants from the Fondo Nacional (Arg 2020, 2021) and the Kenneth Kemble Award in Visual Arts (2022). She has currently created the production company Achalay cine.

About the Producer:

Francisco D’Eufemia, a graduate in Editing from ENERC in 2006, has worked on the editing of a dozen feature films of various styles. Founder of the production companies Poncho Cine and Ramón Irreal, he directed, produced, and edited the documentary "Canción perdida en la nieve" (2015) and co-directed the fiction feature film "Fuga de la Patagonia" (2016). His latest work, "Al Acecho" (2020), premiered at the Pingyao International Film Festival in China and is available on Netflix throughout Latin America, being one of the 10 most-watched Argentine films in the platform’s history. Francisco has also been a tutor and jury member at various film festivals.
