The Horse Shelter is a Santa Fe-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abused, abandoned, and neglected horses throughout New Mexico. Every horse that arrives receives veterinary care, proper feeding, and the time and training they need to heal — and whenever possible, a loving new home. For those horses who can't be rehomed due to age or medical condition, The Horse Shelter is a sanctuary for life. Because every horse deserves to be safe, healthy, and loved.
