Since 2022, we have been growing and putting food back into our local community. To date, we have given back more than 100,000 pounds of food to those in need, all through the work of volunteers. ICT Farms is completely volunteer operated, which means everything we bring in goes right to work.

In Sedgwick County, there are more than 86,000 individuals who are food insecure due to a variety of factors. Lack of access due to transportation, socio-economics, and the cultural understandings or know-how to use fresh grown produce.

To feed 1 meal to each of those individuals means finding a way to grow, preserve, and better utilize more than 1,000,000 pounds of food every year. At ICT Farms, our volunteers know we cannot do it alone and need your support.

In 2025 we are aiming to take on barriers to food and increase our volunteer participation, and this campaign is all about getting the resources to make that possible!

Grow-Your-Own-Farm Program
First animals on a site (Quail at Salvation Army)
Freeze Dryer Education (Partnership with WSU and City of Wichita)
Installing cultural farms at Bridgeport Park (Partnership with City of Wichita Parks and Recreation)
ICT Farms Academy Launch (Education and Training for all growers)
