The International Institute for the Brain is an independent, not-for-profit organization focused on researching, developing, and implementing innovative special education and related services for students with brain injuries and brain-based disorders. As a research institution we are dedicated to supporting national programming that serves some of the most complex cases of brain injuries by developing individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. Another key component of iBrain is International Academy for the Brain (iBRAIN), (https://ibrainnyc.org/ ) one of the largest special education programs in the world, dedicated to students with conditions like holoprosencephaly, shaken baby syndrome and microcephaly.
