Help Torrey Heal: A Doodle's Journey to Recovery

💔 Meet Torrey, a sweet 9-month-old doodle mix who was rescued today from Hemet, California, along with her five siblings. Torrey’s story took a devastating turn when the person who promised to care for her placed her in harm’s way. Tragically, their dog attacked her, leaving Torrey with severe injuries, including a deep wound to her head and a serious concussion. To make matters worse, Torrey is dangerously malnourished, a heartbreaking sign that she’s been starved nearly to death.💔
Thanks to California Doodle Rescue, Torrey was rushed to @ShermanOaksVet, where Dr. Lockhart quickly scheduled her for emergency surgery to repair the damage. While Torrey is fighting bravely in surgery, her journey to recovery has just begun. She’ll need several days of intensive care and monitoring at the vet, followed by a loving and dedicated foster home to support her emotional and physical healing after this traumatic experience.
