Touch Grass, is a character-driven narrative set in Atlanta that follows Cali; recently fired, trying to get her life together, and stumbling through activism, romance, and messy self-discovery.

It’s intentionally not a traditional climate series.

Climate exists in the background, the way it exists in real life, influencing work, culture, relationships, and identity. By leading with story and humor, Touch Grass reaches audiences who don’t typically watch climate content at all.

This series provides the narrative container for both initiatives you’re supporting:

Plus Media Impact Hub, which gives viewers a place to deepen engagement and explore real-world action sparked by the series.
The ATF Media Lab, which trains emerging Atlanta creators by placing them inside the production of Touch Grass itself.

Together, they create a storytelling-to-action pipeline rooted in community, creativity, and impact.

Why This Matters

Most climate messaging never reaches everyday audiences. And many early-career creators—especially outside of NY and LA—never get access to the training or mentors they need to break into the film and digital media industry.

We’re working to change both.

This fundraiser supports two efforts launching through After the Fact Impact (ATF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to community-centered storytelling and environmental engagement.

FUND 1 — The +Media Impact Campaign ($5,000 goal)

We’re partnering with Plus Media to design and run a targeted digital campaign for Touch Grass.

Instead of preaching to climate insiders, +Media helps us:

reach general audiences on TikTok and YouTube
test messages and story frames
run A/B content experiments
translate story views into measurable impact

Traditional climate messaging often feels heavy, academic, or inaccessible. This campaign uses humor, romance, and storytelling to meet people where they already spend time.

$5,000 fully funds Plus Media’s strategy, distribution, analytics, and digital footprint.

FUND 2 — The ATF Media Lab ($5,000 goal)

ATF Media Lab is our hands-on training and workforce development program for emerging Atlanta creators.

Your support funds:

on-set training + shadowing opportunities
workshops on directing, producing, sound, and editing
access to equipment
stipends, meals, and transportation support
partnerships with Atlanta community venues

This program opens the door for underrepresented creators to gain real industry experience inside a narrative production—something most never get access to.

$5,000 fully funds a full cycle of training for Atlanta participants.
