Our aim is to see students grow into informed citizens, positive community contributors, and to become eligible candidates for a wide variety of career options. We teach confidence through science programs, and perpetuate the learning cycle by employing graduate students as mentors and providing professional development for teachers.

Headwaters’ programs encompass experiential science programs with schools, extracurricular science programs and camps for students, and professional development for graduate students and education professionals. Many are offered at low-cost to underfunded schools or have applications for individual financial assistance available so that science education is accessible.

In order to continue to grow - in our impacts, the quality of programming we provide, and the number of students we serve - we need your help. As a nonprofit, Headwaters relies on our community members to support the critical work we do and allow us to provide low-cost programming to underserved schools and students.

The 2025-2026 school year is on the horizon and we are so excited to work with even more students this year, with your help.
