Hey there Friends & Family!

One of the things I've learned in my 50 years (gulp!) is that what matters most is you. You are the people who have supported, laughed, cried, and lived life with me. Some are friends from years past; some are new; some have been there all along. I am so grateful for each and every one of you.

I'm also grateful for the meaning and purpose my work brings me. As Executive Director at Hope For The Journey Collective, I have the absolute privilege of seeing first-hand that there is good in this world. When I'm overwhelmed by the news, I just think about my last client who went from daily panic attacks to feeling confident enough to build a family. Or one of my staff's clients who has slept through the night without nightmares for the first time in 3 years and is now considering going back to college because she feels rested & confident enough to do something good with her life.

Not everyone is blessed with so many wonderful people to support them. Not everyone has the financial means to get the help they need. That's why at Hope For The Journey, we empower all people to heal and thrive after trauma through counseling that works and trauma-informed training and education.
