Every year, San Diego House Rabbit Society rescues hundreds of rabbits who arrive at our shelter scared, injured, or ill. Many come from overcrowded shelters or are found abandoned outdoors. Each one needs more than just love—they often need urgent medical care: surgeries, dental treatments, and ongoing medication to give them a second chance at life.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome domestic rabbits while educating the community about their care and wellbeing. We believe every rabbit deserves safety, comfort, and the chance to hop happily in a loving home.
