Join us for Community Transformation Night School Session 3! This session’s topic is We are the ones we've been waiting for. This transformative workshop is designed to empower individuals to embrace their full potential, discover their unique voice, and become active participants in creating the future they envision. The name of the workshop is inspired by the famous quote, often attributed to indigenous leader and activist June Jordan, which speaks to the power of recognizing our own agency and leadership. In a world that often looks to external figures for solutions, We Are the Ones We've Been Waiting For challenges participants to recognize that the power to create change lies within themselves. Join us on November December 12th from 5:30 - 7pm at the Gem City Market Community Room for an interactive discussion led by amaha selassie.
