On November 30th, Try Pie teens will be kicking off our year end giving fundraising with #GivingTuesday: "...a global generosity movement... a day that encourages people to do good and inspire hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity."

Teens at Try Pie are paid for more than their time in the kitchen learning basic job skills while making pie. Costs associated with classroom workshops, mentoring meetings, and leading on our business development committees all are supported by a combination of pie sales, grants, and donations. Rising ingredient costs, a need to keep wages for our employees competitive, and our being able to continue to creatively provide meaningful work for Cedar Valley teens in 2022 all make an end of year giving campaign as critical as ever.

$50 will be added to 30 first-time donor gifts of any amount on Giving Tuesday thanks to a few of our favorite local businesses!
