ABRA stands for Against Bigotry, Responding with Action. We are an organization of community members in Sunland-Tujunga, CA, committed to supporting direct actions that uplift traditionally marginalized communities. We are one of the few remaining communities in the greater Los Angeles area that still bears an indigenous name: Tujunga. Given this fact and the tragic on-going discoveries of indigenous children buried in unmarked graves, we felt called to bring Indigenous People back to the land this year with our areas FIRST Indigenous People's Day event.
