Founded in 2005, Pushing Boundaries primary role is to provide intensive exercise therapy for people navigating paralysis and other neurological movement disorders. Utilizing specialized equipment geared to the specific needs of our clients, each client has a customized plan to help them achieve their goals- whether those goals are increasing finger dexterity, expanding their breath capacity, or learning to walk again, our one-on-one sessions challenge, inspire and help our clients maximize their independence. In addition, we provide an always-accessible online resource directory for professional services, products, and support resources for the entire Neurological Movement community.

Pushing Boundaries (a registered 501(c) 3) relies on community support and grants to help keep our services affordable for our clients. Prior to COVID-19, that support covered approximately 25% of our overhead. Because of COVID-19, our need for community support is even greater. As we rebound from a 5-month closer, we are limiting client capacity to 50% while seeing an increase in operating costs (to help ensure client safety); we want to do everything in our power to ensure that the cost for our clients does not change.
