Make ALL Cancers Less Scary is an initiative of the UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation (UCLA JCCF), designed to raise funds and awareness. Funds raised through Make ALL Cancers Less Scary will be dedicated to funding the most promising initiatives of the UCLA Health Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center (UCLA Health JCCC) and the Simms/Mann UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology.

UCLA Health and the UCLA JCCC are ranked top 10 in the nation, according to a recent issue of the U.S. News & World Report. In the last decade alone, basic science and clinical studies conducted at the UCLA Health JCCC have led to the approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration of 24 new cancer treatments. These include therapies for melanoma and lymphoma as well as cancer of the breast, lung, liver and prostate. Often, discoveries made in one cancer type speed progress against a variety of malignancies.
