Hazy 2025 Sponsorship
Hazy was given to us by another horse rescue as a companion for Maple. She was rescued from a breeding farm that could no longer use her and had stopped giving her care. Based on her lip tattoo, she was also once a competing race horse. She came to us with horrible feet and teeth, and severely underweight. In the last couple of years, she has improved tremendously and is enjoying her retirement eating as much as she wants and spending her days doing whatever she likes, which is usually walking about with Maple and the goats.
Hazy is going blind in one eye and has significant melanomas in her mouth and on her body, which is typically for a grey horse of her age. She used to have a lot of pelvic pain that made getting up and laying down difficult, but through nutrition and exercise, she is doing great.
