Story
UMACHA gives back: UMACHA is excited to have you share with us our compassion for community.
This year many of you have worked hard in very difficult circumstances. We have seen our families, neighbors and friends struggle alongside us. This year as part of our conference UMACHA would like to challenge you, our members, with a giving campaign. Starting on September 1st through September 31st we are asking you our members and Navigating Payments attendees, speakers and staff to do something kind for your neighbor.
For our Navigating Payments 2022 ‘UMACHA Gives Back’ campaign, UMACHA has partnered with CEAP- Community Emergency Assistance Program. CEAP was founded in 1970 as a food shelf responding to the growing need for human services in Brooklyn Center and Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. CEAP mobilizes resources, shares abundance and nourishes neighbors to create and celebrate a healthier, stronger and connected community.
We understand if you choose to support your local community in other ways and appreciate you, our members, and celebrate with you in supporting your own community.
If you prefer to donate goods, please refer to the UMACHA Navigating Payments Website for a list of physical goods and bring them to the conference and place them on the donation table and UMACHA will make sure that CEAP receives all of the generosity from our attendees.
