MetroMorphosis is on a mission to ignite transformation from within Baton Rouge’s urban communities. We believe that real change happens when people are empowered to shape their own futures, equipped with tools to redefine systems, and supported by a community that values their success.

I first encountered MetroMorphosis in 2019 as a recent college graduate determined to drive community progress through storytelling. In 2020, I joined the team as their Communications Catalyst, fulfilling my dream and contributing to the impact they were making across Baton Rouge. My time there equipped me with tools and mindsets that continue to shape my communications career, allowing me to address community needs and empower people to drive the change they envision. 

The organization's attention to detail and thoughtfulness shine like a bright light for young professionals and change agents who are looking to build their toolbox and impact the lives of the communities that they are a part of. Even as I have since transitioned from the organization as an employee, I am beyond aware of the impact that they are having on small businesses, existing and emerging leadership practitioners, narratives, and the overall landscape of change in Baton Rouge.
