About the Boys & Girls Club of Bethlehem

Since 1930, the Boys & Girls Club of Bethlehem (BGCOB) has been a staple youth development organization. Their mission is to enable all young people, especially those in most need, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.

Today, BGCOB has over 650 kid and teen members in grades K-12, and provides additional programs and activities for another 150+ young people. Program focus areas include: education, recreation, health & nutrition, and life-skills & career development. The BGCOB facility includes two-full sized gyms, Teen Room, Movement Room, STEAM Room, kitchen with instructional space, Game Room, Library/Computer Lab, and outdoor gardens, courts, and field space.

Career exploration & development, financial literacy, homework help, sports & recreation, gardening, and art classes are just a few of the many programs Club kids participate in throughout the year.

The BGCOB membership cost is $15/year for a kid. It costs us over $1,100/kid to provide the programs and services annually.
