About us: Our mission is to break down the silence, shame, and stigma surrounding mental health by providing adults and teens with tools and skills to help improve their emotional well-being. Since 2007, our programs have reached more than 185,000 teens and families.

School Presentations: Delivered to teens through storytelling and song by KnowResolve founder Dennis Liegghio. Dennis openly shares how songwriting helped hime to cope with the loss of his father to suicide as teen and his own mental health journey. Key take-aways from the presentation include: warning signs about suicides, available resources, how to help a friend in distress, and that it’s okay (and necessary) to ask for help.

Detour Project: An in-school and mobile program that helps teens relieve stress, make meaningful connections, and explore their emotions through art. It was developed by bringing together teens, mental health professionals and artists. The creative process is essential to emotional healing and growth, and these simple, creative activities are accessible to anyone regardless of their past experience with art.

Survivors of Suicide Loss: A grief support program designed to assist families, friends, and individuals affected by the aftermath of suicide. The group provides professional/peer-facilitated meetings in a supportive and confidential setting. This allows survivors to share and validate their feelings and experiences.
