Through this platform, you can support the college dreams of local high school girls who have demonstrated academic excellence and community service involvement. The Zora Neale Hurston Scholarship is an annual, self-funded program delivered by the Kappa Iota Zeta, East Point Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

For generations, our international organization of over 125,000 college-educated women has championed and supported higher education through scholarship, our first principle. In the last year, our local chapter awarded two $5000 scholarships at the 2025 Tea with Z—made possible by the investment of sponsors and donors such as yourself.
