New York City Ballet 2025 Annual Luncheon

This year's event will celebrate the 100th birthday of NYCB Principal Dancer and American dance legend Maria Tallchief. A revolutionary of her time, Tallchief was the first Native American prima ballerina and had a profound impact on NYCB’s history. Featuring excerpts from several ballets in which she originated leading roles, including George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker^® and Firebird, this program will highlight Tallchief’s influential legacy as we hear from dancers who performed alongside her, as well as those she impacted throughout her career and beyond.
