For the seventh consecutive year, the government of Uganda did not allocate resources to NGOs that provide protective services to victims of human trafficking. Also, no screening of vulnerable populations or indicators of human trafficking is completed. Fewer trafficking cases are investigated and the conviction of alleged perpetrators is less and less through the years.
