Why This Matters

When we first met the children in our care, they were living in heartbreaking conditions — two small 8×10 rooms with dirt floors, no toilets, no running water, and no space to sleep, study, or simply be children.
Illness spread quickly. Storms brought water inside. It was unsafe, unsustainable, a reality no child should ever have to endure.

So in 2022, we took a leap of faith.
We purchased land. We brought water and electricity to a place that had none. We built a caretaker’s shelter. And when their situation worsened in early 2024, we moved them into a safe rental home — the first time they had beds, a kitchen, and room to breathe.

How Far We’ve Come

Volunteers from around the world came to Uganda to help — carrying bricks, mixing concrete, and raising the walls of a new home.
This year, we put on the roof — a milestone that once felt impossible.

Now, the structure stands strong. It’s beautiful. It’s hopeful.
But it isn’t finished.

We still need windows, doors, wiring, plumbing, and flooring — all the final touches that turn a structure into a real home.
