The Steiger Ukraine Project: Kingdom Work in a Combat Zone

The Need: The Steiger Ukraine Project once served youth on the Ukrainian border through discipleship programs. When war broke out, everything changed. The young people fled, families were displaced, and soldiers headed to the front lines. The missionaries faced a choice: leave or stay and serve those who couldn't escape. With God’s help, they stayed.

Kingdom Impact: Right on the Russian border, these missionaries pivoted their entire ministry to serve military personnel and their families. They distribute Bibles to soldiers, host BBQs for displaced families, and disciple those left behind in conflict zones. After years of trauma and displacement, they have noticed that those they serve desperately need counseling for PTSD. Providing this support is now the ministry's highest priority.

The Initiative: Aid the Way aims to provide $8,500 to fund emergency supplies, winter relief, and spiritual support for families who are choosing to stay and serve despite the danger.  This is standing with faithful servants doing Kingdom work in one of the hardest places on earth.
