Uncommon Art Raffle

Liz Chase, @thekindlywool, is raffling off hand-made items with 100% of the proceeds going to Be Inclusive MA. Tickets are available online for the following raffle items:

1. Ancient Stories, a mosaic crochet blanket made in 100% acrylic yarn in a smoke free, pet friendly home. Blanket is an oversized throw that would also fit on a twin bed. This item can be washed in cool water on delicate and dried on low heat. Do not use fabric softener. Handmade by Liz Chase

2. Ana Lucia shawl, made with 100% cotton yarn in a smoke free, pet friendly home. This shawl will come with a cross-stitch wall hanging made by Faith Ross, pattern from the Tiny Leaders series by @badasscrossstitch.

3. Juniper cowl, made with 100% merino wool yarn in a smoke free, pet friendly home. This cowl will come with a cross-stitch wall hanging made by Faith Ross, pattern from the Tiny Leaders series by @badasscrossstitch.

4. Glory quilting kit; kit contains all materials to make a 20” x 58” table runner, including Keepsake Quilting 100% cotton fabric, natural cotton batting, and unbleached cotton backing. This is a kit, not an assembled item. Two available, donated by Valerie Chase.

5. Dissent cowl, made with 100% merino wool yarn in a smoke free, pet friendly home. This cowl will come with a cross-stitch wall hanging made by Faith Ross, pattern from the Tiny Leaders series by @badasscrossstitch.

Raffle tickets for these items, along with additional small items for purchase and kids’ raffles, will also be available during the in-person Uncommon Art on the Common event in Walpole, MA, on Saturday, October 22nd from 12-5pm.

In-person and online raffle ticket purchases will be entered into the same drawing. One winner per item/“basket.”

Raffle tickets are $5/each, $20/Five. To enter, make your donation directly to Be Inclusive, Inc. send your receipt and the item(s) you would like to be entered into the drawing for to eachase@gmail.com.

All proceeds benefit Be Inclusive. Donations will be accepted online leading up to the event, and via online donation or cash on the day of the event. All winners will be notified by email on the evening of October 22nd.

Be Inclusive is a Black woman-led organization that creates inclusive communities by lifting the voices of historically underrepresented and marginalized community members while recognizing diverse cultures and intersectional experiences. This program supports healthy racial identity development and ongoing anti-racist learning through education, community events, programming, and resources.
