Please join me on October 20th @ 7 PM for the livestream evening of "United in Healing 2022" as we raise funds to support the work of the Domestic Abuse Project. You will hear stories of impact from DAP clients, donors, staff and volunteers. The event will be hosted by WCCO's Shayla Reaves and Mike Augustyniak.
I have been a board member at the Domestic Abuse Project since 2019, and as a young kid I was a participant in the children’s program. Through both experiences, I have seen firsthand how the work of DAP supports and empowers individuals and families to end cycles of abuse. DAP’s extraordinary work is needed more than ever as the Covid-19 pandemic and recent economic turbulence has exacerbated incidents of domestic violence in the United States, including locally in the Twin Cities.
My fundraising goal of $10,000 could provide a full year of parent-child psychotherapy to help 20 children and their parents form healthy attachments and prevent violence.
Please consider giving an amount that feels significant to you to help fund DAP’s important work in our community.
Thank you in advance for your support.
In gratitude,
Aaron
