Who We Are:

In 1988, a small group of individuals whose lives had been shaped by adoption came together to imagine something different — a place that honored the voices of everyone touched by adoption, with respect, choice, and care at the core of every decision. They believed adoption could be rooted in compassion, ethics, and lifelong connection. From that vision, Adoption Center of Illinois (ACI) was born. For nearly four decades, ACI has united families through ethical, compassionate, and child-centered adoption. Each year, we walk alongside hundreds of children, families, and expectant parents —continuing to carry out our mission of Helping Children Through Adoption. Your support makes this possible.
