Class Description: Hypnosis Fundamentals is a fun workshop designed to give beginners a running start into erotic hypnosis. HKBA is changing our class rotation!

In this day-long intensive we will guide you through the basics of hypnotic theory, consent & negotiation in hypnokink, how to craft a scene, how to hypnotize a partner, and how to go into trance. The workshop contains several opportunities to practice trancing with and without suggestions so that you'll go home confident to play on your own.

No need to bring your own partner, but great if you do! Practice will happen in groups of three: everyone will be hypnotist, subject, and observer for each activity. The instructors will be circulating and available to help.

While our focus is on welcoming and launching beginners, intermediates might enjoy a refresher or new perspective on the basics, and all the practice time! All levels are welcome.

Meet the instructors:

MindTop (aka Cabel, he/him), has been teaching hypnosis on and off (mostly) in the Bay Area for almost a decade now. He is attracted to con-non-con, memory play, and coercion. During his free time, you can find him playing board games, learning to cook, and exploring the city.

Resonate (she/her) was introduced to hypnokink in 2017 and immediately realized she'd been doing it her whole life. She is a hypno-switch who tends toward artistic, weird, challenging, and joyful play, with a special interest in power exchange between players of equal status.
