At Urban Indigo Foundation, we believe that every child deserves to feel safe, included, and supported—especially those with sensory needs.

This Disability Pride Month, we’re proud to partner with KultureCity, a national leader in sensory accessibility, to bring certified sensory bags and weighted lap pads to Urban Indigo events, field trips, and family outings.

Each sensory bag contains carefully selected tools to reduce overstimulation and create a sense of calm, including:
🎧 Noise-reducing headphones
🧸 Fidget tools
🧼 Visual cue cards
🫶 Comfort items

Weighted lap pads provide additional grounding and emotional regulation support for children during high-stress or overstimulating moments.

💛 Here's how you can make a difference:

$50 = Provides one sensory bag
$40 = Provides one weighted lap pad
$90 = Provides one full sensory support set (bag + lap pad)
$250 = Supports five children with full sensory kits
$500+ = Sponsors a small Urban Indigo sensory-friendly event with trained volunteers and sensory kits
$1000+ = Sponsors a full Urban Indigo sensory-friendly event with trained volunteers and sensory kits

Your donation goes directly to putting these tools into the hands of the families who need them most—parents, caregivers, and children navigating daily life with autism, sensory processing disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and other invisible disabilities.
