Your Impact

Specifically, your gifts will be providing critical support in the following ways in 2022:

Community Space & Materials - Our creative space is a destination where people from all walks of life can explore the vast world of clay. Your gifts will fund the purchasing and maintenance of specialized equipment, materials, storage, and other studio resources that support your practice.
Artists & Instructors - Pottery Northwest attracts established and emerging artists and teachers to our studio, where they can create, build their body of work, and learn and share skills with our students! Your gifts will help ensure our teaching & resident artists are well funded and supported.
Youth Programming - In 2022, Pottery Northwest will be expanding to provide programs to youth across Seattle, starting with a teen program at Pratt and summer camps for youth. Your gifts will help fund these classroom spaces with supplies!
New Accessible Programs - As we embed ourselves in our new community space, we want to partner up with local organizations to offer free / low cost workshops for individuals from diverse backgrounds. Your gifts will make these programs possible.

Looking Forward

As we look ahead, to the years to come, Pottery Northwest plans to grow intentionally using these guidelines and priorities:

Build sustainable organizational capacity in order to serve you and the community better, by expanding staff and seeking out new satellite spaces for programming.
Expand inclusive offerings to include low-cost and/or no-cost programming in order to engage a wider population, regardless of their ability to pay. This includes free clay nights, youth programs, and more.
Nurture community partnerships in order to create learning opportunities and an inclusive respectful environment for all.
Continue to steward your gifts of time, treasure, and talent wisely, in order to ensure long-term sustainability.
