Blue Mountains Biodiversity Project has been defending forests for over three decades, and has saved many thousands of acres from logging. BMBP's field survey program is unique in the region, with staff and volunteers field surveying proposed timber sales from June through September every year. We use the data we collect in the field to firght for mature and old forests, wildlife habitat, streams and water quality, and other ecologically important and sensitive habitats.
