This holiday season, we’re asking Junior League members to support The Giving Tree, a program organized annually by the Columbia Foster and Adoption Project.

The Giving Tree is a program organized each year by Columbia Foster and Adoption Project in Coordination with Great Circle, Cornerstones of Care, Missouri Alliance for Children and Families and Boone and Callaway Counties Children’s Division to provide Christmas gifts for Boone County children in foster care. Foster parents assist the children in filling out Christmas wish lists, then residents of the community adopt a child’s list to purchase gifts from and return the gifts to CFAP for distribution. Gifts were provided for 325 children in 2022.

League members may make gifts of any size to provide gifts for children in foster care.

We will sponsor one child for every $100 raised with the goal of supporting 2-3 children in mid-Missouri.
