Dear Band Parents and Supporters,

Your generous financial and volunteer help will be needed to support our band director’s success and your child’s continued growth as a musician and student.  The Band Booster organization exists to support the students in the band program.

Did you know:

The annual operating budget for the Valley/VSW band program is approximately $80,000, of which the district contributes less than 15%? The Band Boosters provide the remaining funds for the program.

The Band Boosters pay for essentials such as music, marching band drill, clinicians to support Perry Band Olympics, preparation for all students, entry fees for contests, uniforms, instruments, trailer upkeep, and drivers.

Valleyfest, organized by the Band Boosters and staffed by volunteers, traditionally contributes the majority of the budget of the band boosters. To provide these amazing opportunities for students in our programs, we need not only your volunteer hours, we need donations! 

Your tax-deductible gifts of any size will have a positive impact.  We also encourage you to inquire with your employer, as many offer a matching contribution program and donations for volunteer hours.
