Support for Loraine Pellegrino, one of the Arizona Eleven

Legislative District 12 passed this resolution on Tuesday, 11 June 2024:

WHEREAS choosing alternate electors breaks no law and was necessary during the uncertainty following the 2020 election, and

WHEREAS indicting the eleven Arizona alternate electors is an abuse of government power,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Republicans of Legislative District 12 stand in absolute solidarity with the eleven, condemn the actions of Attorney General Mayes, pledge to help our own member of the eleven —Loraine Pellegrino—to help pay her legal expenses, and to offer ourselves in her place if possible.
