Kanjani - Exciting News!

A Request from the Artistic Director,

I’m overjoyed to share some exciting news — Kanjani is officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization! What began as a dream on September 14, 2024, has grown into a dynamic and diverse youth choir made up of some of Atlanta’s most talented and passionate young artists. In a short time, these incredible young people have embraced a mission grounded in artistry, expression, and the transformative power of community through song.

Starting a choir from the ground up was never something I expected to do, but it has quickly become one of the most rewarding journeys of my life. With every rehearsal, every shared moment of growth and joy, I’m reminded that the boldest steps often lead to the most meaningful impact. To those who encouraged, guided, and prayed for us along the way — thank you. Your support continues to be the foundation of this work.

Now, with our nonprofit status officially in place, we’re looking toward our next season and the future beyond — expanding our impact, deepening our artistic vision, and continuing to provide a nurturing space where young voices are empowered to thrive.

As we plan for what’s next, we need your support more than ever. Your gift will directly support essential needs like music purchases, professional instrumentalists for performances, music folders, archiving tools, and more — all vital to building a sustainable and inspiring future for Kanjani. Every contribution helps us create a strong foundation for long-term success and growth.

Being a conductor and teacher remains one of the greatest honors of my life. Through Kanjani, I’ve witnessed firsthand the magic that happens when young people are given space to grow, create, and lead with confidence.

Thank you for believing in this vision — and in the voices of these young artists who are ready to shape the future of Atlanta and far beyond.

Warm regards,

B.E. Boykin
