Goal: $150,000 to fund the next season of Tumble Science Podcast for Kids
If you've listened to Tumble recently, you probably have heard Lindsay and Marshall mention that the show is supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) grants. These grants are now at risk due to changes in stated priorities at the NSF.
Currently, these grants make up a third of our budget for the next two years. If we are to lose these grants, the podcast faces an uncertain future. We feel that we are at a moment when the mission of Tumble - to improve science literacy for younger generations - has never been more critical. The fact that grants supporting science education are being targeted for termination underscores the importance of our mission for generations to come. We are committed to continuing our work.
Fortunately, we have seen this coming. That's why we are launching this fundraiser through our non-profit arm, Tumble Education - to ensure sustainability for the podcast and ensure accessibility for the future.
Right now, we are raising $150,000 to ensure that we can create Season 11 of Tumble.
Help us share new stories of science discovery with kids everywhere.
Help us do our part to ensure that kids can access high quality science education designed to spark curiosity.
Help us preserve the inspiration for the next generation of scientists and science-literate citizens.
Donate today and be part of our launch story.
Whether it's $5 or $500, your generosity is a part of keeping Tumble alive.
