What is the Family Pledge?

Family Pledge is our school’s biggest fundraiser event and an opportunity for families to directly contribute to the programs their children love and benefit from. The proceeds raised during this event support all of the programs the Cheremoya Foundation provides for the entire year. This year, we want to do more than we ever have before.

Why are we raising money?

With your financial support, we can provide additional enrichment programs, activities, events, and continued campus upgrades. We can also make teacher classroom contributions, including supplies and furniture. That's just the beginning! Our sights are set on a brand-new inclusive playground; your generous support will help us begin the planning process.

What is the goal?

Our goal this year is to raise $50,000 during the Family Pledge, or a minimum of $250 per child. Not all Cheremoya families are in a position to give. If you can, we ask that you give at least $1,500 per family to bridge this gap. For families coming from private school or pre-school, you might consider a month's worth of your previous school's tuition. For other families, a monthly gift between $35 and $150 may be more appropriate. Each family's ability to give varies greatly. You are not required to give; we only ask that you do so if you can. Every dollar counts, and no gift is too small.

How does it work?

This year, we have made asking easier than ever with our Pick-A-Day Giving Calendar. Ask your student’s supporters to choose a calendar day to sponsor; they might choose their age or their favorite number. Sponsors will donate the amount of money equal to the corresponding number (for example, if someone chooses the 20th, they are donating $20; if they choose the 1st, they are donating $1). Fill in as many squares as you can!

Are there any prizes?

All families that pledge at least $50 will receive their choice of a car magnet, window decal, or yard sign. Families that pledge $100 or more will also have their names added to the family giving banner.

A Luck Strike Bowling Party for up to 10 people

For every $50 in pledges a student receives, they will receive one entry ticket to the lucky raffle—only one prize per student.
