IWCA Vital Impact Fund

The International Women's Coffee Alliance (IWCA) introduces the Vital Impact Fund, directed by Executive Director Blanca Castro, to focus resources on urgent needs within the global coffee community. This fund supports IWCA's commitment to empowering women in the coffee value chain through access to education, financial literacy, and leadership development. Established in 2003, IWCA has tackled significant industry challenges—like climate change, market instability, and gender inequities—that disproportionately affect women. The Vital Impact Fund aims to enhance the lives and work of women in coffee, enabling them to drive transformative changes in their businesses, families, and communities.
