The Vermont Theatre Company has an ambitious season planned, staging five productions between November 2024 and August 2025!

Our 40th season will stage productions throughout the greater Brattleboro area, deepening relationships with our venue partners; the Retreat Farm, the Dummerston Evening Star Grange, and Brattleboro Recreation & Parks Department.

An Evening of One Acts - November 21-24, 2024
- Exploring love and loss across a variety of genres - welcoming a new cohort of directors.
Bacchae - Late March 2025
- An interactive community experience exploring the concept of identity, power and vengeance.
Play in a Day Festival - April 19, 2025
- From casting to curtain call - five brand new plays produced in 24 little hours!
A Midsummer Night’s Dream - June 26-29, 2025 (Rain dates June 30 - July 2)
- Continuing a long-treasured tradition - let there be theater in the park.
A Summer Surprise - Late Summer 2025

Our mission is to contribute to our community by creating accessible and engaging theater experiences. We foster inclusivity through open auditions, showcase developing talent alongside seasoned performers and offer affordable, high-quality productions that entertain, inspire, and ignite the imagination.

In keeping with our mission, the 2024-25 season offers over 130 opportunities for actors, directors, musicians and other creatives a place to showcase their talents and work collaboratively. In addition, we are offering “suggested donation” tickets for all performances, and the VTC board is committed to taking action on an access & inclusion plan proposed by new board member Dante Mauriello.

We believe passionately in the power of theater to enrich the cultural landscape, cultivate community, and create connection. This important work would not be possible without the support of our donors and patrons. Thank you.
