As of this year, over 500 million people lack access to feminine care products. Volunteering Untapped Chicago's Giving Tuesday non-profit partner this year, EveryWoman Project, Chicago Chapter, has set out on a mission to provide feminine care products to Chicago women who are experiencing homelessness and inaccessibility to proper menstrual care products. Their vision is to ensure every woman, regardless of social economic standing, is able to have unlimited supplies to feminine care products.

VU Chicago's goal is to raise $2,500 this Giving Tuesday. All proceeds will be going to EveryWoman’s March 2024 event, where VU volunteers will pack 1,000 hygiene and toiletry bags to be dispersed among 23+ shelters, organizations, and schools with high homeless populations across Chicago.
