In Memory of Ashleigh & Patience On July 13, 2012, my world was shattered. I lost my beautiful daughter, Ashleigh Lindsey, and my unborn granddaughter, Patience, to domestic violence. Ashleigh was just 20 years old, full of life and promise, and Patience never even had the chance to take her first breath. They were stolen from us by the very person who claimed to love them. I run for them — for the life Ashleigh should have lived, for the future Patience never got, and for every woman and child whose story ends too soon because of abuse. I run because they can’t. I run to keep their memory alive. I run to turn pain into purpose. This team, this movement, this challenge… it’s not just about miles. It’s about honoring their lives, raising awareness, and helping survivors reclaim theirs. Through Run4Her, we raise funds for scholarships that help survivors start over, heal, and rebuild.
