StrokeOT Neuro Day Program

Location: Wheeler Regional YMCA. 149 Farmington Ave. Plainville, CT

Room: Meeting room inside the main entrance, large room on right

Time: 10:00am to 12:00pm

Sessions: 

• Saturday, February 7th
• Saturday, March 7th
• Saturday, April 4th
• Saturday, May 2nd

Cost: $40 for 4 sessions. Each session is 2 hours long.  If you do not attend a session, no refunds are available. 

Agenda:

Class exercise

Individualized circuit training for upper and lower body

High-intensity upper-body task practice

Group social activity

Requirements:

Age 14 years or older

Can walk safely with or without an assistive device or

If using a wheelchair, you can propel yourself safely from place to place

Independent using the bathroom or have a family/friend/aide to assist you to the bathroom

Independent traveling to and from your vehicle or have family/friend/aide to assist you

No recent seizures, no uncontrolled blood pressure, no uncontrolled heart condition 

Willing and able to tolerate at least two hours of exercise

Instructors:

One class instructor to 5 participants
