In 1997, a group of parents of children impacted by cancer chose gold to represent childhood cancer. Thus, the gold ribbon! Ever since then, supporters around the world GO GOLD® to represent childhood cancer warriors and heroes. Your donation will fund supportive resources to support these children, as well as research to save and improve their young lives.

About the American Childhood Cancer Organization

The American Childhood Cancer Organization was founded in 1970 by parents of children diagnosed with cancer. Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to making childhood cancer a national priority. Join us in shaping policy, expanding research, raising awareness, and providing educational resources and innovative comfort programs for children with cancer, survivors, and their families.
