A Starrs Initiative Building Fund

Founded by Mariah Sammons “A Starrs Initiative” is a non-profit organization for women and those who identify as women to seek protection from Domestic Violence. We provide housing and living assistance and community outreach programs focusing around Domestic violence. Our vision is to lend a helping hand to women in need of protection and provide them with the safety and environment that they deserve. For those in need of services that we do not offer currently within our organization; we provide referrals and offer information to get you the assistance you need.

We are looking to Get a building to create a safe space and a home more than the traditional Shelter but a home for the Metro Detroit Area. As there is no shelter in the immediate area or any shelters catered to just domestic violence victims.
